To use a QR code for returns, print a code on receipts and packing slips that opens a return request form. Studio's Returns & Receipts template is a form page with order or receipt number, email, item, a reason dropdown and a details box. Requests are listed in the code's Responses page, where you can export them as CSV, and you reply to each customer yourself. The same code goes on every receipt, and you can change the questions without reprinting.

Frequently asked questions
Does the code replace paper receipts?
No. The same code goes on every receipt or slip and opens the return form. It doesn't create digital receipts.
Is the return processed automatically?
No. CirculateQR collects the request. You review it and reply with next steps.
Where do new requests show up?
In the code's Responses page in CirculateQR, so check it regularly.
Can I change the form later?
Yes. Edit the fields in Studio and publish again; printed codes keep working.
What happens to the code if I cancel?
Dynamic codes keep working while the subscription is active and for 14 days after it ends, then pause until you subscribe again. Nothing is deleted, including past requests.
