CIRCULATEQR
Marketing & Brand

Give viewers a way to act during the ad

To use a QR code in a TV or streaming ad, paste the page viewers should open into the TV & Streaming Ads template in Studio. It adds UTM tags (source qr, medium tv) for your web analytics. Export a large, high-contrast code for your editor and keep it on screen long enough to scan. Afterwards, line up scans by time of day with your airing schedule, and change the landing page any time without re-editing the spot.

The problem

Why the printed version falls short

URLs on screen are hard to read and remember

Viewers have a phone in hand but nothing to do with it

TV spots are hard to connect to website visits

Channels and time slots are hard to compare

The landing page is fixed once the spot is produced

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can viewers scan a code on a TV?

Usually, if the code is large, high contrast and stays on screen for several seconds. Test it on a real screen from across a room before the spot goes out.

How do I know which airing drove scans?

Look at scans by time and compare them with your airing schedule. For separate channels or services, use a separate code for each.

Does it track sales?

CirculateQR counts scans. The UTM tags let your web analytics tool show what those visitors did after they arrived, including purchases if you track them there.

Can I change the page after the spot is made?

Yes. The code uses a short link, so you can change the destination in Studio without editing the video.

How long will the code keep working?

On a paid plan, while you subscribe and for 14 days after you cancel. On the free plan, codes pause 14 days after publishing, which is short for most campaigns.
