A QR code menu you can edit after it's printed
To use a QR code for your restaurant menu, put a hosted menu page behind it. In CirculateQR Studio, start from the Restaurant Menu template and add your sections, prices, descriptions, photos and dietary or allergen labels, or link to a menu you already host. The code stays the same when you edit the menu, so table tents never need reprinting. Turn on time of day and the meal being served now is listed first.
Why the printed version falls short
Every price change or new dish means another print run
Sold-out dishes stay on the menu until a server says otherwise
Guests ask staff which dishes are vegetarian or contain nuts
A PDF menu is hard to read on a phone screen
Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus get mixed up on the tables

Useful extras
Time-of-day menus
Name sections Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and set when each meal ends. The meal being served now is listed first, and the others show their hours.
Sold-out switches
Turn items off from the code's page in your dashboard. The live menu marks them sold out right away, with no republish.
Separate menus by time or dayStudio+
A link code with time and day rules can open a brunch menu page on weekends and a dinner menu page after 5 PM. Each menu is its own page.
Menus by phone language
A link code can send phones set to Spanish to a Spanish menu page you made, and everyone else to your main menu.
A plan badge means that plan or higher is needed. Paid marketplace templates show their one-time price. Compare plans

Frequently asked questions
Can I change the menu after the code is printed?
Yes. The code opens a hosted page through a short link. Edit the menu in Studio and publish again, and the same printed code shows the new version.
Does the menu appear in other languages automatically?
No. Nothing is translated automatically. On any plan, a link code can send phones set to another language to a menu page you made in that language.
Can I see which dishes people look at?
No. CirculateQR counts scans of the code, with the time, device and approximate city. It doesn't record which items someone views.
Do guests need an app?
No. Guests scan with the phone camera and the menu opens in the browser.
What happens to the code on the free plan?
On the free Standard plan, a menu code stays live for 14 days after you publish it, then pauses and shows a neutral 'not active' page. Upgrading reactivates it, or a one-time $5 payment keeps that one code live permanently; you can pay it before or after the code pauses.
