To share your WiFi with a QR code, create a WiFi code: CirculateQR stores the network name, password and security type in the code itself, in the standard format phone cameras read. Guests scan and their phone offers to join, with nothing to type. Because the details live in the code, it's free, it never expires, and it has no scan tracking. If you change the password, make a new code.

Can I change the password without reprinting?
No. The password is stored in the code itself. If you change it, create a new code and replace the printed one.
Can I see how many people scanned?
No. WiFi codes are static and connect phones directly to your network, so there are no scan analytics.
Is it secure?
Anyone who scans the code can join the network, just as if the password were written on a sign. Use a separate guest network to keep your own devices private.
Can I collect guest emails before they connect?
No. The code joins the network directly, so there is no email capture for WiFi codes.
Does the code stop working on the free plan?
No. WiFi codes are static, so the 14-day limit for dynamic codes on the free plan doesn't apply. They keep working on any plan.
Does it work on all phones?
Most current iPhones and Android phones can join WiFi from the camera app. Test with the phones your guests are likely to use.
