CIRCULATEQR
Personal & Memorial

A memorial page visitors can open at the graveside

To use a QR code for a memorial, put a small code on the headstone, plaque or marker that opens a memorial page. Studio's Museum Exhibits template has a fitting layout: a heading and photo, key details such as dates and place of rest, story sections, and links to photo albums, videos or an obituary. Visitors can send you a message through an optional form. Because the code must last for years, check what happens on the free plan and after cancelling before it's engraved.

The problem

Why the printed version falls short

A headstone only fits a name, dates and a line or two

Visitors don't learn the story of the person

Photos and memories are spread across family phones

An engraved inscription can't be corrected or added to

Relatives far away can't share memories at the grave

What you get

Cemetery Memorials with CirculateQR

A small code on a headstone, plaque or marker opens a page with a photo, dates, a life story in your own words, and links to photo albums, videos or an obituary. You can keep editing it over the years.

  • A photo, dates and a life story on one page
  • Sections for stories, family and favorite memories
  • Links to a photo album, video tribute or obituary
  • An optional message form; messages come to you, not the public page
  • Edit the page after the code is engraved
  • PNG, SVG or PDF files for your engraver or plaque maker
How it works

How to set it up

  1. Write the page

In Studio, open the Museum Exhibits template. Add the name, a photo, dates and place of rest as details, and write the story in sections.
  2. Link photos and videos

Add links to a shared photo album, a video tribute or the obituary.
  3. Decide how it stays live

Choose a paid plan or the one-time $5 payment for this code, so it doesn't pause 14 days after publishing on the free plan.
  4. Have it made

Download the code as SVG or PDF and give it to your monument maker or plaque supplier. Scan the finished piece to test it.

Useful extras

Permanent Code

On the free plan, a one-time $5 payment keeps one code live permanently. It's on the code's page in My Codes, before or after the code pauses.

Message Form

Visitors can send a memory or a note. Messages are listed in the code's Responses for you to read; they aren't shown on the page.

Scan History

See when the code was scanned. History is 7 days on Free, 90 days on Studio, 1 year on Artisan and unlimited on Stealth.

A plan badge means that plan or higher is needed. Paid marketplace templates show their one-time price. Compare plans

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What happens to the memorial if I stop paying?

On a paid plan the code works while you're subscribed and for 14 days after it ends, then pauses and shows a neutral 'not active' page until you subscribe again. Nothing is deleted. On the free plan, a one-time $5 payment keeps one code live permanently.

Can other family members add photos or stories?

Not directly. The account owner edits the page. Relatives can send memories through the message form, and you can add them.

Can the page be private?

No. Anyone who scans the code or has the page link can view it, so share only what the family is comfortable making public.

How long will the code last outdoors?

That depends on the material and how it's made. CirculateQR provides the code as a file; ask your monument maker about engraving or outdoor-rated plaques, and test the finished code with a phone.

Can I correct details after the code is engraved?

Yes. Edit the page in Studio and publish again. The engraved code stays the same.

Start with the Museum Exhibits template

The template opens in Studio with starter content filled in. Change the text, pick a design and download. The free plan needs no card.
