  • Read a QR code from a screenshot, a photo or your camera with the free scanner. It decodes in your browser, so images are never uploaded, and it shows a link’s full address before you open it.
  • The size calculator works out how big to print a code for any scanning distance, with the module size and quiet zone.
  • A glossary explains 33 QR code terms, from quiet zones and error correction to quishing, and new comparison pages help if you’re switching from another QR tool.

  • Fixed a problem that could leave Studio waiting forever after you pressed Create.
  • Your plan and credits now show correctly as soon as you sign in.
  • If Studio still seems stuck, close every CirculateQR tab once and open it again.

  • The homepage explains what CirculateQR does in plain words, and you can make a link or WiFi QR code right on the page with no account.
  • The artwork at the top is real AI QR art made with our own pipeline: point your phone camera at it and it scans.
  • Marketing pages load faster, especially on phones.

  • New accounts open on a “make your first QR code” screen with quick starts for a website link, a menu, a business card or AI art.
  • The sidebar uses plain names (Home, Create, My codes, Pages, Orders, Templates, Analytics and Settings), with less common tools under More tools.
  • Studio asks what you want your code to do, uses plain labels throughout, and the publish screen offers PNG, PDF and SVG downloads with tips on what to do next.
  • Confirmation and password-reset emails come from circulateqr.com, with clear, branded wording.
  • Signed up but never got the confirmation email? The sign-in page now offers to send a new link.
  • Email alerts for new form responses, orders, event sign-ups and business-card contacts are delivered, and so are event tickets and marketplace receipts.
  • Free generators for websites, text, WiFi, contact cards, email, SMS, phone calls, WhatsApp, locations, events, menus, PDFs, social media and app downloads.
  • They run entirely in your browser, so nothing you type is sent to us, and static codes never expire.
  • Pick colours (with a contrast warning), add a logo, set the size and error correction, then download a PNG or SVG.

  • Loyalty templates: Coffee Rewards with tiers, a birthday reward and referrals; Gym Progress with streaks and milestone badges; Restaurant Points; and Salon VIP with service history.
  • Casino and Holiday scratch cards with fair prize draws, and an Adventure Hunt with GPS or code check-ins, photo checkpoints, hints, teams and a leaderboard.
  • Loyalty cards now need your own staff PIN before they can be published.

Loyalty cards and games →

  • All 56 built-in starter templates open in Studio with realistic sample content, or clear guidance on what to paste in, and publish a working page.
  • The standard pages for products, link-in-bio, forms, contacts, WiFi, menus, events, portals and ordering were rebuilt, and stay readable whatever colours you choose.
  • Studio’s phone preview now matches what people see when they scan.

Hosted pages →

  • Turn on “Collect contacts” and visitors can tap “Share your contact” on your card. You choose which details to ask for.
  • New contacts appear on the code’s Contacts page, with search, delete and CSV export, and you can be alerted by email.
  • Visitors can optionally receive a copy of your details by email.
  • Every code now has the standard quiet zone, a clear border four modules wide, so printed codes on dark or busy backgrounds scan far more often.
  • Rounded and circle module styles now scan, and WiFi codes handle any character in a network name or password.
  • Each finished design is decoded before it is marked as scanning. If it fails, Studio tells you the likely cause, such as the logo, reversed colours or low contrast.
  • Routing rules gain date and temperature conditions, “not between”, “none of these days” and true “not” branches, and the built-in routing templates now work as described.
  • A/B tests in the visual workflow editor split traffic as set, and a rule’s UTM tags now carry through gates and tracking steps.
  • Plan features are the same in Studio, the workflow editors and on our website, and rules on live codes keep working if you move to a smaller plan.

Smart routing →

  • Scanning a code or opening a page no longer sets a cookie. One is set only when someone uses a loyalty card or plays a game.
  • The consent banner says exactly what is collected and what opting out stops, appears on hosted pages too, and opting out also skips tracking pixels.
  • The privacy policy lists every cookie and matches how the product works.

  • A code’s version history works again, and you can keep a free code live even after it has paused.
  • API short links use the main site address, and webhook payloads include the code’s name.
  • Security hardening.

  • The Restaurant Ordering template takes real orders for a table or pickup, with options, kitchen notes and tips. Guests pay your staff; nothing is charged online.
  • Orders arrive in a new Orders inbox with sound alerts and a pause switch, and guests follow their order on a live status page.
  • New menu templates: Modern Bistro with wine pairings, Cocktail Lounge with a happy-hour countdown, Food Truck with live sold-out switches, and Sushi Bar with a roll builder.

Menus and ordering →

  • Job applications take private résumé uploads and check screening answers automatically. Multi-step lead forms show fields based on earlier answers and can hand over a PDF.
  • NPS surveys ask follow-up questions based on the score and point happy customers to your review link.
  • Event registration enforces ticket and session capacity, gives each guest a QR ticket, and lets you check people in with your phone camera.

Forms, events and tickets →

  • Conference pages with speakers, a multi-day agenda, sponsors and tickets; festival pages with the line-up, stage times and an interactive site map.
  • Product launch pages with a countdown and a waitlist; wedding invitations with the day’s schedule, a gallery and RSVPs with meal choices.
  • Every event page offers add-to-calendar and sharing.
  • Business Profile, Product Catalog with filters and side-by-side comparison, Property Listing with floor plans and a virtual tour, and Service Menu with a before-and-after slider and booking links.
  • Luxury Product pages with a 360° view and serial-number checks you manage from the code page.
  • Creator, Music Artist, Portfolio and Small Business pages, including opening hours that show whether you’re open right now.
  • AI art is checked with a stronger QR reader at several sizes, and only counts as scanning when it reads back your exact link.
  • When the AI’s code can’t be read, the real code is redrawn in the same spot, following the scene’s angle and lighting, instead of being pasted on top.
  • Wide templates that used to fail now generate, and scenes no longer pick up stray labels from our instructions.

AI QR code art →

  • Buy extra AI credits on any plan. Purchased credits never expire, and your monthly allowance is used first.
  • Settings shows your balance, the packs and your purchase history, and Studio offers a pack when you run out.
  • Premium AI art templates show a lock and their price, with a link to get them in the marketplace.

  • Change where a dynamic link code goes, right from its code page.
  • Edit a published menu, event, portal or other hosted page in Studio and save it to the same code and short link, with no reprinting.
  • Publishing from Studio keeps the routing rules you made in the Workflows editor.

Dynamic QR codes →

  • Password, email gate, one-time, expiration, device, language, time, location, A/B test and UTM blocks now ask for their details and run on every scan.
  • Studio checks each block before publishing and explains anything that’s missing.
  • Each code has a Responses page listing form answers and email sign-ups, newest first, with CSV download.
  • You see the answers only, and visitors’ IP addresses are shortened when stored so they can’t identify a person.
  • Scan totals are exact, long date ranges cover the whole period, and hours and days are shown in your time zone.
  • Export the full date range to CSV, not just the rows on screen.
  • Week-over-week changes on each code are real figures, shown when your plan’s history covers them.

QR code analytics →

  • Scanners see a plain message for each situation, such as paused, ended, expired, already used or not found, instead of one generic error.
  • Medical ID, pet tag, WiFi, contact, product and event pages work well on phones, with real Call, Save contact, Copy and Add to calendar buttons.
  • Your brand comes first: only a small “Made with CirculateQR” footer remains.
  • Running out of credits or reaching a plan limit explains what happened and how to upgrade, without losing your work.
  • Studio warns you before you leave with unsaved or unpublished work.
  • Uploaded logos and “text in the image” now make it into AI art, and plain labels replace jargon.
  • Publish your own designs to the marketplace. Only the design is shared: your code’s content, logo and settings stay private, and every listing is reviewed before it goes live.
  • Buying a pack or bundle installs every template inside it.
  • Pack and bundle descriptions match exactly what they contain.
  • Tracking pixels are skipped for visitors whose browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.
  • Error messages are written in plain language.
  • Security hardening.

  • On phones the sidebar becomes a slide-in menu, and Studio becomes a tabbed workspace that fits the screen.
  • In Settings you can change your password, see how many credits you have left and manage billing.
  • API keys get only the access your plan allows, and you can create read-only keys.
  • 2K and 4K output, aspect ratios and search grounding now apply to AI art, and the scan check shows the real result.
  • WiFi, SMS, email, calendar and contact codes encode exactly what you enter, and hosted types such as medical ID, pet tag, menu and portal publish correctly.
  • Large logos and photos upload directly, published AI art keeps its full quality, and publishing ends with your code ready to download or share.
  • Overnight time windows, such as 10 pm to 6 am, work, and time and day rules use the scanner’s time zone.
  • A/B splits add up, and analytics record where each scan actually went and which rule sent it there.
  • The workflow editor gains an end time for “between”, location fields and a day-of-week picker.
  • AI credits are reserved when a generation starts and refunded automatically if it fails.
  • Static codes don’t use credits.
  • Free-plan dynamic codes follow the time limit shown on the pricing page, and upgrading keeps all of them live.

  • Start a paid plan straight from the pricing page with secure Stripe Checkout.

  • Paid marketplace templates are bought through Stripe Checkout and added to your account once the payment is confirmed.
