Bulk QR Code Generator (Free)

This free bulk QR code generator turns a list or spreadsheet of links or text into up to 1,000 QR codes at once, with your colors and logo, and downloads them as a ZIP of PNG or SVG files. It runs in your browser, so your list is never uploaded, and the codes never expire.

  • Up to 1,000 codes
  • PNG and SVG
  • Nothing uploaded
  • No sign-up

Make your QR codes

Put a link or text first. To choose a file name, add it after a comma or tab. Copied cells from Excel or Google Sheets work too.

A preview of your first code appears here.

How much of the code can be dirty, scratched or covered and still scan. Higher levels add more squares, so the code gets denser. Medium suits most uses; choose High for a logo or rough surfaces.

The blank border scanners need around the code. It never goes below 4 modules (the code’s small squares), as the QR standard asks.

Sharp up to 9 cm (3.4 in) at 300 dpi. SVG scales to any size.

Logo in the center (optional)

PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF or SVG. It stays in your browser and is never uploaded.

How to make QR codes in bulk

  1. Make your list

Put one link or piece of text per row in the first column of a spreadsheet. Add a file name in the second column if you want one.

  2. Paste or upload it

Copy the cells and paste them into the box, or save the sheet as CSV and upload it. A plain list with one link per line works too.

  3. Check the rows

The tool shows how many codes are ready, the first file names, and any rows it can’t make.

  4. Style every code

Choose colors, a module style, a logo and the PNG size. The preview shows the first code.

  5. Download the ZIP

Pick PNG, SVG or both and download. The ZIP also holds codes.csv, which lists each file and what it contains.

  6. Test before printing

Scan a few codes from the ZIP with an iPhone and an Android phone.

How to lay out your list

The first column is what goes in each code: a web address, or any text up to 2,000 characters. The second column, if there is one, names the file. A first row of column titles (such as url and name) is skipped. Up to 1,000 rows are used per batch.

https://example.com/menu
https://example.com/specials
example.com/feedback
url,name
https://example.com/table-1,Table 1
https://example.com/table-2,Table 2
"Wi-Fi: CafeGuest, password on the wall",wifi-note

Text that contains a comma needs double quotes around it in a CSV, as in the last row above. Cells copied from Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets arrive separated by tabs, so commas inside them are fine.

Static codes: free and permanent

Every code in the ZIP is static: it contains its link or text directly, so it works without an account and never expires. The trade-off is that it can’t be changed after printing and scans aren’t counted.

If you need either, use dynamic QR codes. Make them one at a time in Studio, or create up to 1,000 per request with the CirculateQR API on the Stealth plan. The dynamic vs static guide explains the difference.

Tips for printing QR codes in bulk

  • Name your files: a second column such as “Table 12” or a product code makes the right code easy to find when you lay out the print job.
  • Keep links short. Long links make dense codes that need printing larger; drop tracking parameters you don’t need.
  • Use SVG for print shops and design tools: it stays sharp at any size and the files are small.
  • If you add a logo, keep it small and test a few codes: every code in the batch uses the same logo size.
  • Check the first and last few rows of codes.csv against your spreadsheet before printing, so nothing shifted.

Bulk QR code questions

How do I make QR codes in bulk from Excel or Google Sheets?

Put the links or text in the first column and, if you like, a file name in the second. Select the cells, copy them, and paste them into the box above. Or save the sheet as CSV and upload it. Then download the ZIP.

How many QR codes can I make at once?

Up to 1,000 per batch. For more, split the list and run it again. Large batches of big PNGs take a minute or two, because every code is drawn in your browser.

Is my list uploaded anywhere?

No. The list, your logo and the codes stay in your browser tab. Nothing is sent to CirculateQR or anyone else, and nothing is saved after you close the page.

Do these QR codes expire?

No. They are static codes: each one contains its link or text directly, so it works for as long as the link does, with no account or subscription.

Can I change the links after printing, or count scans?

Not with these codes, because the link is part of the pattern. For that you need dynamic codes. You can make them in CirculateQR Studio with a free account, and the API on the Stealth plan creates up to 1,000 dynamic codes per request.

Can I add my logo to every code?

Yes. Choose a logo under “Colors, logo and size” and every code in the batch gets it, with error correction set to High so the codes still scan.

What will the files be called?

By the name in your second column if you give one, otherwise by row number and the start of the content, such as 001-example.com-menu.png. Duplicate names get -2, -3 and so on. codes.csv in the ZIP lists every file and its contents.

Can I make WiFi or other types of code in bulk?

Each row is encoded exactly as written, so ready-made content such as a WIFI: string works. The tool is built for links and text, though; for one WiFi or contact code, the single generators fill in the format for you.
