CIRCULATEQR

Terms of Service.

Last updated: October 19, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CirculateQR, including circulateqr.com, the dashboard, hosted QR pages, the template marketplace and the developer API (together, the "Service"). CirculateQR is a business based in Arizona, United States ("we", "us").

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you can accept these Terms on its behalf. You must be at least 18 years old to buy a subscription.

2. Your account

Give accurate information, keep your password and API keys secret, and tell us promptly at support@circulateqr.com if you think your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account and its API keys.

3. Plans, trials and billing

CirculateQR offers a free Standard plan and paid plans (Studio, Artisan and Stealth), billed monthly or annually at the prices shown on our Pricing page, in US dollars, plus any applicable taxes. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.

  • Free trial. Your first monthly subscription may include a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required, and the subscription converts to a paid plan automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends.
  • Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period and you authorize us to charge your payment method for each renewal until you cancel.
  • Plan changes. Upgrades take effect immediately and you are charged the prorated difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we retry it. If it still can't be collected, your account returns to the Standard plan.
  • Price changes. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of a price change, which applies from your next renewal.

One-time purchases, such as permanent hosting unlocks, API overage packs and marketplace items, are charged when you buy them.

4. Credits and usage limits

Paid plans include monthly QR, AI-generation and API allowances as described on the Pricing page. Unused monthly credits roll over up to twice your plan's monthly allowance. AI credits bought as credit packs don't expire and are used after your monthly allowance. Credits and API requests have no cash value, cannot be transferred and are not refundable once used (see our Refund Policy). We may apply fair-use and rate limits to keep the Service reliable for everyone.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep paid features until then.

Subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partially used periods, except where required by law or where you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge). See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details and how to request a refund.

6. QR codes and hosted content

Dynamic QR codes and hosted pages route through our servers and depend on an active account. Static codes encode their content directly and keep working without us.

Free-plan dynamic codes are live for 14 days. On the Standard plan, each dynamic code and hosted page works for 14 days after it is published. After that it stops redirecting until you upgrade to a paid plan or buy a one-time permanent unlock for that code. Upgrading reactivates all of your codes. If a paid plan ends, your dynamic codes return to the 14-day free-plan rule from that date, except codes you permanently unlocked, and Standard plan limits apply.

Always test a code by scanning it before printing or distributing it. We are not responsible for the cost of reprinting materials.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service, including any QR code destination, to:

  • run phishing, scams or fraud, or impersonate another person or organization;
  • distribute malware or redirect people to harmful or deceptive sites;
  • share illegal content or content that infringes others' intellectual property or privacy;
  • send spam or collect personal data without a lawful basis and proper notice;
  • overload, probe or interfere with the Service, or get around plan limits or security controls.

We may review destinations, disable codes and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, with or without notice, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities.

8. Your content and AI-generated output

You keep ownership of the content you upload or create ("Your Content"). You give us permission to host, process, display and transmit Your Content only as needed to run the Service. You confirm you have the rights to any logos, images and text you upload.

AI features send your prompts and reference images to our AI providers to generate results. Generated output may resemble output created for others, and you are responsible for how you use it. We do not use Your Content to train our own models.

9. Template marketplace

Buyers. When you buy a marketplace item you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it in your own projects. You may not resell or redistribute the item itself. CirculateQR is the seller of record for marketplace purchases.

Creators. You may only list items you have the rights to sell. Listings are reviewed before they appear. For paid items you receive the creator share shown when you publish (70% of the sale price by default), paid out by Stripe to the connected account you set up through Creator Hub and subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. If a sale is refunded or disputed, the creator share for that sale is reversed. You are responsible for your own taxes on payouts.

10. Developer API

API access is available on plans that include it, subject to the monthly request quota of your plan and any overage packs you buy. Keep API keys confidential; we may revoke keys that are exposed or misused.

11. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Stripe (payments), Supabase (data storage), Vercel (hosting) and AI providers. Your use of features that depend on them may also be subject to their terms.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as payment obligations, disclaimers and limits of liability) continue to apply.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every QR code will scan on every device.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or US$100 if greater.

15. Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs arising from Your Content, your QR code destinations or your breach of these Terms.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Arizona have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
