Sample: A four-stop town walk with a code checkpoint, two photo tasks and a finish.

What’s included

  • Location check-in

Where you add coordinates, players tap “I’m here: check my location” and the server checks they’re within your radius (50 m to start). Players only get a far, near or very close hint, and the checkpoint code works as a fallback.

  • Photo tasks

Teams upload a photo for a checkpoint. It’s accepted automatically or waits for you to accept or reject it in your dashboard; points count once it’s accepted.

  • Hints

Up to 5 hints per checkpoint, revealed one at a time and shared by the team, each costing points (25 to start).

  • Team leaderboard

Teams ranked by checkpoints, then score, then time, refreshed every 20 seconds.

  • Teams

A player starts a team and teammates join with a 5-character code (up to 100 teams of 8 to start).

  • Progress trail

A winding trail of checkpoints that keeps the real locations secret.

Who it’s for

  • Team-building days and company events
  • Tourism boards and walking tours
  • Schools, camps and festivals

  3. 3

Choose how the QR code looks: a plain code, your brand colours, or AI art.

  4. 4

Publish. CirculateQR hosts the page and gives you the QR code to download as PNG, SVG or PDF.

  5. 5

Put up your codes along the route and let players start.

Good to know

  • What it collects: Your dashboard has the photo review queue, the teams and the leaderboard.
  • Location check-in needs a tap; it doesn’t unlock on its own.
  • Photos are checked by you (or accepted automatically), not by image recognition.
