Let people give from their phone

To use a QR code for a donation drive, print a link code that opens your existing donation page. Studio's Donation Drives template is a link code with Analytics and UTM tags on, so you can count scans from each poster or event and see the visits in your web analytics. Your donation provider handles the payment and receipts. When the next appeal starts, point the same printed code to the new page.

The problem

Why the printed version falls short

Supporters without cash can't give on the spot

Typing a long donation link loses people

It's hard to tell which poster or event brought in donors

Campaign pages change between appeals

What you get

Donation Drives with CirculateQR

A link code on posters, flyers or collection points opens your organization's donation page. Your donation provider handles the payment, and CirculateQR counts the scans.

  • Scanners go straight to your donation page
  • Works with the donation provider you already use
  • See scans by day for each appeal
  • Separate codes for each event or location
  • Point the code to a new appeal without reprinting
  • Visits tagged with UTM campaign names
How it works

How to set it up

  1. Use your donation page

Copy the link to your donation page from your donation provider and paste it into the Donation Drives template in Studio.
  2. Tag the appeal

Add UTM tags with the appeal or event name so donations can be matched to the campaign in your analytics.
  3. Print it where people are

Posters, flyers, event programs, collection tins and receipts. Add your colors.
  4. Follow up

Check scans by day and location, and change the destination when the next appeal starts.
Features

Useful extras

One Code per Location

Create a code for each event, venue or poster run, name it, and compare their scans.

Expiry Date

End the code on the last day of the appeal. Later scans see a neutral 'not active' page.

Language Routing

Send phones set to another language to a donation page you've made in that language.

Tracking Pixel

Fire a Meta Pixel or GA4 tag before the redirect, for your own reporting.

A plan badge means that plan or higher is needed. Paid marketplace templates show their one-time price. Compare plans

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does CirculateQR process donations?

No. The code opens your organization's donation page, and your donation provider handles the payment and receipts.

Can I see how much was raised through the code?

CirculateQR shows scans. With UTM tags on the link, your donation provider or web analytics can show which gifts came from those visits.

Can I reuse the code for the next campaign?

Yes. The code goes through a short link, so you can point it to a new appeal page in Studio.

Which payment methods can donors use?

Whatever your donation page offers. That is set up with your donation provider, not in CirculateQR.

What happens to the code if we cancel?

Dynamic codes keep working while the subscription is active and for 14 days after it ends, then pause until you subscribe again. Nothing is deleted.
