An event page with your ticket link one tap away
To use a QR code for event tickets, link it to an event page with a button to your ticketing site. CirculateQR's Event Ticket template shows the date, venue, directions, add to calendar, a schedule and contacts, with the ticket button pointing wherever you already sell tickets. CirculateQR doesn't sell tickets. For a QR ticket per guest and check-in at the door, use the paid Event Registration template.

A code can stop working after its first scan, for single-entry passes. It's a deterrent, not a lock: a photo of the code can still be scanned first.

Frequently asked questions
Does CirculateQR sell the tickets?
No. The ticket button goes to the ticketing page you already use, such as your website or a ticketing service. CirculateQR hosts the event page and the code.
Can each guest get their own ticket code?
Yes, with the Event Registration template ($4.99, bought once). Each registrant gets their own QR ticket, and you check tickets in at the door with your phone camera. Each ticket checks in once. It's for free registration only; there are no paid ticket sales.
What happens if the date or venue changes?
Edit the page in Studio and publish again. Everyone who scans sees the new details, and the printed code stays the same.
Can a code work only once?
Yes, on the Studio plan and above. Turn on One-time and later scans see an 'already used' message. Link previews don't use it up, but someone could photograph the code and scan it first, so treat it as a deterrent.
What happens to the code on the free plan?
On the free Standard plan, an event page code stays live for 14 days after you publish it, then pauses. Upgrading reactivates it. Plan around this if your event is more than two weeks away.
