Trip details passengers can pull up at boarding
To give passengers boarding details by QR code, open the Boarding Passes template in Studio. It builds a trip page for a ferry, shuttle, tour or group trip: departure and arrival times, the terminal with directions, details such as the booking reference and luggage rules, an add-to-calendar button, a Manage booking link to your own system and an office contact. Print the code on confirmations or signs. If a time changes, edit the page; the code stays the same.
Why the printed version falls short
Printed confirmations go out of date when times change
Passengers can't find the terminal or boarding point
Booking references get lost in email
The office phone rings with the same questions before each departure
Luggage and boarding rules are buried in the terms

Useful extras
Add to Calendar
Passengers save the departure to their phone calendar from the page.
Copy Buttons
Booking references and other details can have a one-tap copy button.
Scanned Check-In
For trips people sign up for, the paid Event Registration template ($4.99) gives each registrant a QR ticket that you scan with your phone at boarding, once per ticket. It doesn't sell paid tickets.
End Date
Stop the code after the trip so old confirmations don't open outdated details.
A plan badge means that plan or higher is needed. Paid marketplace templates show their one-time price. Compare plans

Frequently asked questions
Can CirculateQR issue airline boarding passes?
No. Airline boarding passes come from the airline, and gate scanners read only those. This page is for operators who run their own trips, such as ferries, shuttles and tours, and for group trip organizers.
Do staff scan this code at boarding?
Not with the standard page. Passengers show the page and staff check it by eye. For scanned check-in, the Event Registration template ($4.99) gives each registrant a QR ticket that can be scanned once.
Does it update from our booking system?
No. There's no booking-system connection. Edit times and details in Studio, or link to your own live status page.
Can each passenger get their own page?
Only if you make one per booking by hand. Most operators use one page per departure or route. The free plan includes 3 hosted pages, Studio 25, and Artisan has no limit.
Does it work offline?
No. The page needs WiFi or mobile data. Keep key details on printed tickets too.
