CIRCULATEQR
Alternatives

Looking for a QR TIGER alternative?

If you use QR TIGER and want cheaper routing rules, free codes without a logo popup, or AI-designed codes, CirculateQR is built for that: device and language rules are free, and time, location and A/B rules come with Studio ($12 a month). If the lowest entry price, CSV bulk creation or many QR types matter more, QR TIGER may suit you better.

QR TIGER (qrcode-tiger.com) is a dynamic QR code generator with a freemium plan, paid plans for individuals and businesses, and an enterprise edition. Facts about QR TIGER come from the official sources listed below, checked October 2026; prices and features change, so confirm on QR TIGER's official site before you switch.

Reasons

Why people look for a QR TIGER alternative

Each comes from QR TIGER's own pages, linked below it. Whether it matters depends on how you use QR TIGER.

Routing starts on Advanced, one condition per code

Multi-URL codes route by location, time, phone language or scan count from Advanced ($16 a month, billed annually). Each code supports one condition at a time, device isn’t one, and we didn’t find a built-in A/B split.

Free codes show a popup and are capped at 500 scans

The free plan’s 3 dynamic codes allow 500 scans each and are listed “with QR TIGER logo popup”; its FAQ says ads display when they’re scanned.

Dynamic codes depend on an active plan

Its FAQ says a dynamic code stops working if your plan expires, with data kept for up to a year. Its homepage says dynamic codes have no expiry, so the two pages don’t agree.

No AI-generated QR art

Its AI feature is an “AI-Powered Data Chatbot” for analytics on Advanced and Premium; we didn’t find AI artwork with the code built in.

What you get with CirculateQR

Matched to those reasons, in order. Plan limits are on the pricing page.

  • Device and language rules on every plan; time, location, scan-count and A/B rules from Studio ($12 a month, billed monthly); weather from Artisan. One rule can combine several conditions.
  • No popup and no cap on scans for free link codes. The trade-off: on the free plan, up to 5 dynamic codes can be live at once, each for 14 days unless you upgrade or unlock it for $5.
  • When a paid plan ends, dynamic codes keep working for 14 days, then pause until you resubscribe. Nothing is deleted, and a one-time $5 unlock keeps any one code live for good.
  • AI QR art, decoded with a QR reader and repaired if the art breaks the code. Studio includes 10 AI credits a month; credit packs (from $9 for 10 AI credits) work on any plan.
Trade-offs

What you'd give up

Where QR TIGER is stronger, or what CirculateQR doesn't offer today.

  • A lower entry price: Regular is $7 a month for 12 dynamic codes; Studio is $12 for up to 100 a month.
  • Free dynamic codes with no time limit; CirculateQR’s free ones last 14 days unless upgraded or unlocked.
  • CSV bulk creation (up to 3,000 codes per batch) and an API on every paid plan. CirculateQR has no CSV upload, and its API starts on Artisan.
  • Integrations with Canva, Zapier, HubSpot and Google Analytics. CirculateQR has no native Zapier or Canva app; its webhooks work with Zapier or Make.
  • SSO and sub-users on Enterprise, ISO/IEC 27001 certification as it states, and more QR types, such as Wallet vCards. CirculateQR has no team seats or SSO.

Switching

How to switch from QR TIGER

A printed dynamic code keeps depending on the provider whose short link it holds; a static code holds its content and depends on no provider. Move in this order:

  1. Sort your printed codes

Scan each one. A QR TIGER short link (or a custom domain set up through it) means a dynamic code that depends on QR TIGER; a code that opens your own address, WiFi or contact card directly is static and depends on no provider.
  2. Set up the new codes first

Create your CirculateQR codes, pages and rules before changing anything, so every scan has somewhere to go.
  3. Repoint printed codes

QR TIGER’s FAQ says a dynamic code’s destination can be changed after printing. While your plan is active, point each one at its new destination, such as a CirculateQR page; scans still pass through QR TIGER.
  4. Reprint, then cancel

Its FAQ says dynamic codes stop working when a plan expires, so cancel once the old prints are replaced. New CirculateQR dynamic codes rely on CirculateQR’s short link (circulateqr.com/go/…) in the same way; static codes rely on no provider.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is a good alternative to QR TIGER?

It depends on why you’re leaving: CirculateQR for cheaper routing, AI art or free codes without a popup; Uniqode for more rule types and compliance; QR Code Monkey for static codes only. On price, QR TIGER’s $7 Regular plan is the lowest paid entry of the tools we compared.

Will my QR TIGER codes keep working after I switch?

Static codes will. Dynamic codes run through QR TIGER, and its FAQ says they stop working if the plan expires, so keep the plan until printed codes are replaced.

Can I move my QR TIGER codes to CirculateQR?

Not the printed dynamic codes: each holds a short link that QR TIGER’s service redirects. Point them at pages you’ve built in CirculateQR, then replace them when you reprint.

How does CirculateQR’s free plan compare with QR TIGER’s?

QR TIGER’s free plan has 3 dynamic codes with 500 scans each, no time limit and a logo popup. CirculateQR’s has 10 QR credits a month; up to 5 dynamic codes live at once, each live 14 days unless upgraded or unlocked for $5; unlimited static codes, with no popup and no scan cap.
