What’s included
Sections with quick links
Items are grouped by section (Coffee, Breakfast, Lunch). With more than one section, a bar of section links stays at the top as guests scroll.
Full item details
Each item shows its name, price (or text such as “Market price”), description, dietary labels, allergens and an optional photo.
Sold-out labels
Switch an item to sold out from the code’s page in your dashboard and guests who open the menu see “Sold out”. No republishing needed.
Time of day
Optionally put the meal being served now at the top, with the other sections showing when they’re served.

Already have a menu online? With no items, scans go straight to it; with items, the page adds a “See the full menu” button.
Your colours
Light or dark, with an accent colour you choose. One column on phones, two on wide screens.
Who it’s for
- Cafés, coffee shops and bakeries
- Restaurants that want a simple digital menu
- Anyone replacing a laminated or PDF menu
How to use it
- 1
Select “Use this template free” (you’ll create a free account first if you don’t have one). Studio opens with the sample content shown in the preview.
- 2
Replace the sample content with yours. You can change: menu items: name, section, price, description, dietary labels, allergens, photo, sold out; currency; cover photo and label; time-of-day order; closing note; light or dark and accent colour.
- 3
Choose how the QR code looks: a plain code, your brand colours, or AI art.
- 4
Publish. CirculateQR hosts the page and gives you the QR code to download as PNG, SVG or PDF.
- 5
Print the code on tables, windows or flyers. When the menu changes, edit it in Studio and publish again; the printed code stays the same.
Good to know
- What it collects: Nothing is collected; it’s a menu to read.

Yes. Basic Menu Page costs nothing to open, edit and publish.
Do I need a paid plan to use it?
No. You can publish on the free Standard plan, which includes up to 3 hosted pages. On the free plan a code and its page stay live for 14 days after publishing; after that, $5 once keeps one code live for good, or any paid plan (from $12 a month) keeps all your codes live.
Can I change the page after the QR code is printed?
Yes. Edit it in Studio and publish again. The printed code keeps pointing to the same page, so nothing needs reprinting.
Do visitors need an app?
No. The page opens in the phone’s web browser straight from the camera scan.
Can guests order or pay from this menu?
No. Menu templates are for reading. To take orders, use the Basic Order Form or Restaurant Ordering; on both, guests pay in person.
How do I mark a dish as sold out?
Use the sold-out switches on the code’s page in your dashboard. The change applies without republishing the menu.
