Office hours, forms and what to bring, from one sign
To use a QR code for government services, put a code on office doors, counters, notices or letters that opens a hosted info page. Studio's Healthcare template is a good start: an info page with hours, the address with directions, a what-to-bring checklist, links to your official forms and online services, and call and email buttons. When hours or forms change, edit the page and publish again. The printed code stays the same, and scan counts show how often it is used.
Why the printed version falls short
Visitors arrive without the documents they need
Printed notices go out of date when hours or rules change
Long web addresses on letters don't get typed
Phone lines fill up with questions about hours and locations
The right form is hard to find on a large website

Useful extras
Language Routing
Use a link code that sends phones set to another language, such as Spanish, to a page you've written in that language. You write each version yourself.
Expiry Date
Set a code on a temporary notice, such as a road closure or an election, to stop working after a date.
Scan Analytics
Scans by day, device and approximate city for each code, with CSV export. History length depends on your plan.
Branded CodeStudio+
Put your agency's logo in the center of the code and use your own colors.
A plan badge means that plan or higher is needed. Paid marketplace templates show their one-time price. Compare plans

Frequently asked questions
Can residents submit applications through the page?
The page links to your existing online forms and services. You can also turn on a short response form for simple requests; replies are listed in the code's Responses. Don't collect sensitive personal information through it.
Is the page accessible?
Pages are mobile-friendly with readable text. CirculateQR doesn't certify ADA or WCAG compliance, so review pages against your agency's accessibility standards.
What is recorded when someone scans?
The time, device type, browser, phone language and an approximate location from the IP address. IP addresses are stored only as a salted hash.
Can we update the page in an emergency?
Yes. Edit the page and publish again, and the next person who scans sees the change. It doesn't send alerts to anyone.
What happens to the codes if we stop paying?
Dynamic codes keep working while the subscription is active and for 14 days after it ends. Then they pause and show a neutral 'not active' page until you subscribe again. Nothing is deleted.
