Open a bin's record from the shelf
To use QR codes for warehouse locations, copy the link to each bin or rack's page in your inventory system, paste it into the Warehouse Locations template in Studio and print one code per location. Staff scan the label with any phone camera to open the record, and your system's own login and data still apply. If your system's links change, you re-point the codes in Studio instead of relabeling, and scan counts show which locations are opened most.
Why the printed version falls short
Staff type location codes into the inventory system by hand
Searching for the right record slows down picking and counts
Location labels don't link to the system
Moving to a new system can mean relabeling everything
Warehouse Locations with CirculateQR
Put a link code on each bin or rack that opens its page in your inventory system. Staff scan with a phone camera instead of searching by hand.
- Scan a label to open that location's page in your inventory system
- Works with any phone camera, no scanner hardware
- Re-point a code if your system's links change
- Scan counts show which locations are opened most
- PNG, SVG or PDF files for label printing

Frequently asked questions
Does CirculateQR track stock or check picks?
No. The code opens the location's page in your own inventory system. Stock levels and pick checks happen there.
Can I create codes for every location at once?
Not in the dashboard, which has no bulk upload. On the Stealth plan, the API can create up to 1,000 codes per call from your own list.
Do staff need special scanners?
No. Any phone camera that reads QR codes works. Your inventory system's own login still applies.
Is there a code that never pauses?
A plain link code with no tracking holds the link itself, is free and keeps working forever, but you can't change it or see scans. Editable codes pause 14 days after publishing on the free plan, and keep working on a paid plan while you subscribe.
